Responsibilities:

• Support all HW Qualification tests activities 

1. Work with departments to understand the qualification changes and requirement
2. Technical assessment on the changes and adopt zero based test approach. Leverage parts/component level test results from vendor if possible
3. Develop & design the optimized HW Qualification test plan 
4. Develop/ Leverage test scripts, print files & functional test plan 
5. Estimate Qualification test cost 
6. Manage PR process and approval for the Qualification 
7. Manage test schedule and preparation activities (Pens, Medias, Packaging boxes, shipment & etc) 
8. Perform/Execute ME/EE Reliability, Connectivity, DET Life & EMC HW Qualification test 
9. Implement the aligned Reliability test methodology across all test vendors, MPAs to ensure proper & accurate test execution and reporting 
10. Generates detailed analyses and reports of completed reliability evaluations
11. All defects observed in the Qualification are notified timely & accurately to the R&D & Ops team
12. Provides basic failure analysis and root cause identification
13. Provide Technical training to test vendor engineer, technician & operators
14. Provide weekly test status & defect status update to the Requestors & Management 
15. Manage HW defects and drive effective path forward or solution
16. Work with Ops, R&D on failure root cause analysis and solution implementation 
17. Lead/Manage program/ technical discussion meeting 
18. Inventory management (Units, Pens, Medias & Others) 
19. Design, manage and perform Reliability System Audit 

• Lead Initiative/Project to drive cost reduction, productivity gain & improve test coverage 
• Provide Technical & Risk assessment on Line down issue for Management decision making 
• Field defect escalation support in term of Customer impact assessment, Defect characterization, Root cause/solution involvement, Solution validation, Screening process & Qualification test 
• Lead and manage cross function meeting to drive improvement in Product Quality & Reliability 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Engineering. 2+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing/R&D/Quality environment is preferred, Entry level with exception academic results and positive working attitude will also be considered. (Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical/Quality Engineering is preferred) 
• Diploma in Engineering. 5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing/R&D/Quality environment will also be considered. (Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical/Quality Engineering is preferred) 
• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or equivalent preferred 
• Knowledge in Quality, Reliability, Statistical (Weibull, CP/CPK, DRT) & Printer Technology. Knowledge in EMC expertise is an advantage 
• Positive Working Attitude, Willing to learn, Will to Win, Team Player, Independent & Responsibility 
• Able to work & communicate well with cross functional team to drive improvement in Quality/Reliability of the product 
• Able to consolidate complex results into clear and concise communications and effectively communicate to executive level of management
• Knowledge of product development process and key supplier processes and how they impact Quality/Reliability
• Skilled in failure analysis of multiple reliability failure modes in different areas of expertise
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends 
• Works with minimal supervision on assigned work. Provides regular updates
