Agency Partnerships Manager

Job Description

SPH Media - Agency Partnerships team serves as the central lead between our Sales teams and all agency holding companies.

This role focuses on partnership development and harness opportunities to drive new initiatives with our agency partners (i.e. Media, PR, Digital and Creative) and growing our business volume with them.

You will collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Commercial Solutions Development teams to create new ways of working with our agency partners to grow revenue for our portfolio of advertising products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Be at the forefront of driving collaborations and route-to-market strategy with our Commercial Development team
  • Nurture strong agency relationships to discover new ad revenue streams
  • Partner with the agency s investment, planning, strategy, creative, and digital leads to assess client goals; and develop strategies that deliver pre-determined goals by leveraging SPH Media’s full portfolio of solution capabilities and assets
  • Lead internal communication with all key SPH Media – Marketing and Media Solutions stakeholders and work cross-functionally on agency-centric projects + workshops and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Commercial, Digital and Marketing leaders on RFP strategy and response to briefs
  • Negotiate deal points, and monitor progress
  • Research agency and client information to better understand how to best increase and deepen our relationships, and deliver on their needs
  • Analyze and report out on agency negotiations and track towards financial goals
  • Assure the compliance to agreed-upon upfront terms by both agency and clients
  • Discover creative solutions to day to day portfolio level challenges
  • Create new portfolio level opportunities
  • Create presentation materials and deliver for internal and external meetings

Requirements:

  • Possesses 5+ years of  experience in the advertising industry (media, creative, digital) and / or media vendors or publishers
  • Firm experience in solution planning and implementation across a variety of offline and online media platforms would be an advantage
  • Familiar with the know-how on data-related tools (from syndicated data sources to ad serving software & tracking, web analytics tools like Google Analytics etc) is a plus
  • Well organised and attention to details
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to work with a broad range of clients
  • Possess excellent time management skills and able to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment.
  • Ability to confidently present to build ongoing relationships with our partners
  • Collaborative mindset and experience in working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders for any project
  • Ability to dive deep on unstructured opportunities and solution oriented
