You are responsible for training a key appointment holder in standard processes, products and teamwork, while providing coaching for specialised knowledge, operational judgement and decision-making. On this, you work out the best combinations of exercise design, training technology and teaching methods to support training objectives. You also collate observations for continual improvements, as well as supervise and lead the coaching of staff to facilitate improvement in back room processes of the unit. Additionally, you build learning opportunities by creating an environment that encourages creativity and ingenuity, while adhering to established doctrines. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of the latest and evolving developments in training curriculum, and working under high tempo. You may be involved in extended phases of outfield training.
You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 5 years’ work experience in the training field. Proficiency in Learner-Centric coaching skills, such as Action Learning Process (ALP), is advantageous.
