You develop and implement strategies to optimise the defence budget utilisation while ensuring that the budget is expended prudently on requirements that contribute to MINDEF/SAF’s strategic objectives. You also acquire deep knowledge of MINDEF/SAF’s business and operations, in order to drive better decision-making on the use of the defence budget, and improve cost efficiencies through synergy, or cost avoidance through deletion of duplicative requirements. Additionally, you perform funds management and cashflow activities using the SAP system.
You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in accounting, finance, banking or business administration, with at least 6 years’ relevant work experience. You should be a self-motivated individual, who possess strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
