You provide decision support by leading, planning and executing data analytics studies. This includes developing machine learning models and data products, and directing data analytics studies to evaluate options and highlight insights. You also collaborate with business units to translate business problems into tractable analytics projects and implement them. Additionally, you groom the junior members of the analytics team and the larger community of practice in MINDEF/SAF. Your challenge lies in communicating effectively with users to understand their business while conveying to them complex and technical information, as well as keeping abreast of the latest knowledge and skills on data analytics. 

You must have a tertiary qualification with strong mathematics and computing foundation, with 5 years’ relevant work experience in data analytics. Proficiency in Python, R or other analytics tools will be considered favourably.
