Assistant Manager/Manager, Marketing Comms & Platforms (Group Marketing)

Job Description

Group Marketing Division is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing initiatives for SPH Media. We are looking for an Assistant Manager/Manager who will contribute to the deliverability of email marketing campaigns, develop email marketing strategies, and be the main custodian for the group’s various marketing tools & platforms. 

 

The candidate will serve as a liaison between business units across the organisation, and external vendors to ensure a seamless customer experience and integration across systems. 

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Oversee, manage and provide governance for all marketing tools & platforms, such as event registration, survey & email marketing, etc.
  • Develop email marketing strategy for SPH Media and SPH Media brands and share the best practices.
  • Identify target audience, grow email database and maintain effective targeting of segment audience for lead generation purpose. 
  • Identify, develop and review user experience and user journey regularly.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution process from liaising with various business stakeholders to the delivery of campaigns.
  • Plan and manage email marketing campaign calendar.
  • Propose flow and manage scheduling of marketing automation campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively and as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Tracks, collects, analyzes and reports data with actionable insights.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or the equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing email marketing platforms such as Emarsys, Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of EDM template design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
  • Working knowledge of new tools in digital experience and customer experience, along with established tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Webmaster tools etc
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages, such as CSS or HTML
  • Meticulous, methodical and commercial-minded
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate complex large-scale concepts clearly and simply
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles
