Business Function

Group Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives for SPH’s Media Brands. 

With established brands under our stewardship, the priority for the Brand and Communications lead is to create initiatives that drive greater engagement and increase brand love. He / She will also be leading trade communications, keeping the media industry and advertisers engaged and informed. 

Expectations

  • Develop and execute Strategic and Tactical marketing initiatives
  • Gather and analyze audience and customer insights in behaviour, consumption habits, social lifestyles and the economy, competition and trade development that contributes to the growth and adds value to the brands 
  • Develop and execute brand strategies, and guide brand custodians to execute with excellence 
  •  Lead in the artwork management process for existing & new range to ensure compliance to regulations & brand imagery
  • Develop initiatives on fit-for-use toolkits (including copy, prints, digital              i-banners, social content etc.)
  • Develop and implement strategic trade and business media relations plans engaging with mainstream and social media contacts and platforms to build awareness and understanding 
  • Proactively engage with management to develop high quality, creatively-written material for internal and/or public distribution

Job Requirements

  •  A university degree 
  • At least 10 years of experience in successful Brand Management, Marketing and/or Communications / PR 
  • Strategic and analytical, with a forward thinking mindset
  • Able to formulate data-driven decisions with sound business judgement
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Experience in team and stakeholder management
  • Permanent / Full Time
