SPH Media Trust is seeking a resourceful individual with strong business thinking and corporate governance mind-set, to manage day-to-day operations in the Procurement and Travel team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement and Travel, the incumbent is responsible for strategic procurement and to achieve desired suppliers' performance.

• Lead and implement best sourcing practices, to support Corporate and Business Units’ objectives
• Define and implement strategies, for cost optimization and operating efficiency
• Implement Supplier Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management, to maximize the value to the company
• Drive Vendors Risk management and implement strategies, to mitigate and manage 
• Support and develop green procurement policy, to ensure sustainability  
• Establish standards for overall evaluation of procurement functions, to deliver value-added services to Business Units
• Build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders, to gain buy on the Procurement processes cum compliance with policies
• Coach and build the Procurement and Travel team, for maximum effectiveness

• Degree holder, preferably with Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma (CIPS) 
• Minimum 15 years’ of Procurement experience, with at least 8 years in a supervisory role   
• Proven track record in strategic procurement development and demonstrated ability to upgrade and evolve the Procurement function
• Strategic thinker with a high degree of initiative cum integrity and able to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, with good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent written, negotiation, communication and influencing skills
