The position requires an experienced and motivated individual that has a wealth of experience within the Media business to help create opportunities and strategies for the expansion of the SPH’s business abroad.

The main responsibilities pertaining to this role would be to help develop  key strategic plans for the expansion of SPH’s businesses abroad, conduct feasibility studies and profitability analysis on potential ventures and opportunities, negotiate key terms on these potential ventures and ensure the smooth execution of the various transactions.

The job will require you to work independently as well as work closely with the various other divisions in SPH, specifically, to garner feedback and attain approvals on potential ventures abroad.

• A degree in Business Administration/Finance/Marketing or a Professional Certificate such as ACCA.
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience. Significant experience in the Media industry would be an advantage.
• Experience in the following key areas would be a key advantage:
  • Developing and implementing key strategic business plans.
  • Performing key analytical and feasibility studies over markets, companies or on a transactional level.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Involved in key commercial and business negotiations.
• A confident individual with a strong demeanour who can articulate and present business ideas and plans in the most coherent and comprehensible manner.
• A goal-getter who thrives on developing new business opportunities and ideas.
• An independent worker who works well in a cross-functional team environment.
