Job Description

This position provides support to the General Services Office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the U.S. Government-owned or leased moto vehicles to transport passengers and/or cargo.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the vehicle in clean and serviceable condition.

Job Requirements

All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item in their resume.  Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.

  • At least 3 years of professional driving experience is required.
  • Successful completion of secondary school or high school education is required.
  • Must hold a valid Singapore issued Class 3 local driver’s license.
  • Must successfully obtain Singapore issued Class 4 driver’s license within 12 months period and maintain the Class 4 license in good standing. 
  • Must have the ability to read maps and plan driving routes. 
  • Must have good verbal communication skills, and an ability to handle all persons with professionalism and discretion.
  • Must be able to perform basic vehicle inspection and must possess intermediate level automotive maintenance skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills to maintain reports and for communication purposes. 
  • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 12 kg including with a non-motorized device while using appropriate hand-cart and safety equipment.
