Close Combat Instructor (Team Leader)

Job Description

You train and test soldiers in close combat proficiency through the conduct of various close combat training (CCT) programmes and in-house instructor courses. As the subject matter expert, you provide advice and consultation on CCT or martial arts-related matters, and ensure that the CCT doctrine and lesson plans are relevant and up-to-date. Additionally, you manage the NSF close combat instructors in their deployment, discipline and administration.

Job Requirements

You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 2 years’ work experience in a coaching or supervisory role in martial arts training. Possession of martial arts skills, at minimally a Grade 3 in Krav Maga or equivalent, is essential. Candidates with a black belt in any martial arts will be considered.
