We are looking for an experienced and creative Content Producer and Strategist to join the social media team in Lianhe Zaobao's China desk. In this role, you will produce content for Zaobao's China viewers and grow Zaobao's audience across various popular China social media platforms. 

You will be expected to:

• Develop social media content plans that are consistent with Zaobao's brand identity and objectives
• Work closely with the team to identify story ideas that resonate with our audience and generate creative video content
• Contribute to the full content production process including conceptualisation, scripting, filming and editing
• Manage the various social media platforms and drive audience engagement
• Monitor social media metrics and Chinese social media trends for insights and best practices to improve content offering

• Degree in Chinese Studies/Journalism/Mass Communication or relevant fields, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in video production, image editing and social media management would be preferred
• Familiar with various popular Chinese social media platforms such as Weibo, WeChat, Toutiao, Bilibili and Xiao Hong Shu
• Proficient in English with strong command of Chinese as this role is for a Chinese publication
• Creative with a willing-to-learn attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
• Deep understanding of current affairs and trending topics of both Singapore and China would be advantageous as the role involves content creation on Singapore that would appeal to the Mainland Chinese audience
