We invite suitably qualified candidates who are keen to pursue a career in event sales to join our team as Exhibition and Sales Executive. In this position, you will be required to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the health sector by effectively selling exhibition booths, sponsorship and/or related services.
Promote/sell/secure booking from new prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
Present products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to prospective customers.
Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management and operation groups.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the media, events or exhibition industry with proven sales record
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
