Manage the overall maintenance, repair and the day-to-day upkeep of the Church’s properties, facilities, and equipment with regular inspections and implement an effective maintenance program
Plan, execute and supervise building upkeep and maintenance carried out by term contractors and service providers engaged by the Church and ensure that services rendered are according to agreed standards and timelines
Supervise and follow-up to the completion of additions & alteration works of the church, renovations, and rectification of defects of the buildings
Source for, and manage facilities’ suppliers and service providers
Provide operational and logistics support for the Church’s various daily activities
Perform minor repairs, including but not limited to masonry, minor electrical, plumbing and temporary repairs in an emergency.
Ensure compliance with regulations and statutory obligations in relation to the church properties and facilities as well as workplace safety and health requirements
Oversee and supervise the day to day activities of the facilities & maintenance team, provide backup for procurement, system administration, room booking and help desk activities.
Execute facilities management related activities & administration.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the Church’s budget for facilities management
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Estate Management or its equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of building operations and maintenance and related regulatory requirements. Prior experience in church or para-church organization will be advantageous
General knowledge of building maintenance, general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, audio systems and D.I.Y. building works
Proficient in MS Office
Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Willing to work shifts, weekday nights and weekends.

Kampong Kapor Methodist Church ('KKMC') is a family-oriented church with about 1,000 members. Located on Kampong Kapor Road in Little India district, KKMC was founded in 1894. It is one of the first Peranakan churches and the fourth Methodist church to be established in Singapore. We have 6 worship services every Sunday. 3 in English and 1 Peranakan in the morning. We also have Mandarin and Tamil worship services in the afternoon and evening.
The church is easily accessible by public transport and close proximity to MRT stations. It is 7 minutes walk from Farrer Park MRT station, 6 minutes walk from Little India MRT station and 4 minutes walk from Jalan Besar MRT station.
