The IT Support Specialist - Mac role is primarily responsible for providing Mac support services to end-users. The candidate role is to ensure proper end-user computer operations to maintain consistent service for internal customers to accomplish business tasks. The person’s responsibilities include:
Provide Help Desk level-1 and level-2 support for Mac workstation, laptops, notebooks, peripherals and other computer-related devices.
Create and manage user setup and Mac updates
Participate in managing support via phone and e-mail ensuring courteous, timely and effective resolution of end-user issues.
Follow established policies, procedures, and technology standards to ensure system availability and security.
Image and deploy standard computers; installs, configures and maintains personal computer system and application software
Works with help desk ticketing system to open, update and close tickets in a timely and complete manner
Bachelor's degree in computer science field preferred
Minimum of 2+ years of technical experience performing Mac support.
Proficient in Bigfix/SCCM and have a working knowledge of Active Directory
Displays expert knowledge of the following, but not limited to Windows/MAC Operating Systems, Active Directory, MDM solution and applications for day to day support of business operations.
