Singapore's premier business daily, The Business Times is looking for an enterprising reporter to join the property beat.

As a journalist/correspondent specialising in the real estate sector, you will produce content across online, print, voice and video platforms of The Business Times in a fast-paced environment.

Strong writing and analytical skills are prerequisites, while technical skills can be trained and honed. You should be quick at spotting trends - and anomalies - and ready to seize news scoops. You should also be always curious and questioning, have a determined approach to gathering news and mining for information, be able to build trusted relationships and embrace a growth mindset. 

Applicants with a few years of experience in financial or business writing or relevant working experience in the real estate sector will be preferred. Recent graduates with interest in covering real estate markets as well as property companies are welcome to apply.

• Relevant degree in Communications, New Media, Business, Finance, Journalism, Real Estate or any relevant fields
• Sharp news sense with a good understanding of content management for multiple platforms
• Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Personal interest or experience in the real estate eco-system will an advantage
