Journalist/Correspondent/Senior Correspondent (The Straits Times)

Job Description

You will help to develop news content, file news stories and relevant ideas for The Straits Times editorial team. Apart from print you will also contribute towards online platforms, producing video reports and picture galleries.

 


Job Requirements

  • Minimum degree holder from a recognised university
  • Highly enthusiastic self-starter
  • Good news sense with a good understanding of online and mobile readership and surfing patterns
  • Experience in reporting is an advantage
  • You must be able to work both independently as well as in a team
  • You must be resourceful, efficient & creative.
  • Knowledge of Internet, web and digital technology such as web programming, web design, digital interactive, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Drupal CMS is an advantage but not critical.
  • Willingness to work on weekends/public holidays
  • Permanent / Full Time
