Business Function

SPH Group Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives for SPH Media’s Media Brands.   

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will take ownership in applying the online strategy for brand awareness and growth in the digital space for SPH Media brands in collaboration with internal stakeholders, drive digital campaigns across various paid digital platforms complementary with traditional marketing. 

The Role:

  • Provide strategic and tactical counsel to key stakeholders in the context of digital media, best practices, etc.
  • Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams such as editorial, analytics, tech, commercial etc.
  • Develop media strategies and budget planning based on our product or title needs and business objectives
  • Execute paid digital advertising strategies (Facebook, Instagram, Google (SEM, Display), Outbrain & Taboola) and SEO audits.
  • Optimize performance campaigns to reach campaign objectives and business goals by analysing and interpreting sets of data
  • Develop optimization strategies, audit campaigns and build or improve relevant reporting templates to maintain best practices in the team
  • Use new and innovative advertising technologies and techniques to improve campaign performance
  • Generate and visualize pre, mid and post-campaign reports
  • Provide actionable insights whilst always having SPH brands’ business objectives top of mind
  • Keep up with trends in the digital marketing space, competitors activities and best practice

Job Requirements

  • Degree from a recognised university with 5+ years experience in performance marketing and SEO.
  • Hands-on experience in using web analytics tools like Google Analytics, executing & optimizing Paid Social, Search and Display campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, Native advertising (Outbrain & Taboola), AdWords, Google Analytics, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram.
  • In-depth understanding of digital media principles, creative best practices, ad formats, media planning and buying.
  • Analytical, structured and organized
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Superior communications skills 
  • Innovative thinker with experience creating and managing strategies and digital platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and writing skills.
  • Passionate about bringing SPH Media brands’ to the next level in terms of performance marketing and overall digitally
