You are part of the cyber threat response team that performs malware analysis. On this you analyse, evaluate and document malicious code behaviour through techniques such as code analysis and reverse engineering, and develop countermeasures and detection means. You also plan and manage malware analysis-related projects. Your challenge lies in staying ahead of the developments in the cyber threat landscape and ensuring operational readiness to handle new malware.
You must have a tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science or computer engineering-related field, with at least 3 years’ work experience in the IT or cyber-related field, preferably in malware analysis and/or reverse engineering. Possession of professional certification or industry-recognised qualification related to malware analysis, reverse engineering or computer forensics, such as GCIH, GCFE, GREM, GMOB, GCFA or CLFP, is advantageous. You should be a strong team player, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
