Job Description
As a multi-platform sub-editor, you will:
- ensure that the style of final copies matches that of the publication’s and that the copies are factually correct
- write news headlines
- design and do layouts for the newspaper
- edit headlines for online news
- prepare and mail out curated stories for daily newsletter
Requirements
- Degree in relevant studies
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese as this role is for a Chinese newspaper
- Excellent written Chinese
- Deep knowledge in current affairs
- A meticulous team player with a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong analytical skills and inquisitive nature
- Working hours from 3pm to around midnight
