You are responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment and services that meet the needs and objectives of the organisation. These include calling for tenders, evaluating offers and establishing contracts.

Specifically, in procurement catalogue work, you will be responsible for the establishment and build-up of a database of goods and services procured that will enable the effective management of resources. You will also be required to review and enhance the governance of procurement to ensure high standards of process compliance.

The preferred candidate must possess

• A good degree. Past work experience in the field(s) of government procurement, catalogue management or data-driven business processes is preferred
• Strong planning, written and verbal communication skills
