As a Program Manager/Director of an English Musicradio station, you are responsible for the smooth and successful operation of the station. It is your responsibility to steer the station in the desired direction through strategic programming and leadership. Your main duties include managing the whole programming and promotional team to produce engaging and quality programs.  You will also be scheduling, monitoring and reviewing programming in order to ensure that schedules are met, guidelines are adhered to, and performances are of adequate quality. You are also required to work closely with the sales team to answer clients' briefs and execute creative campaigns for our advertisers.

The Job

• Managing presenters, producers and station promo staff in the station

• Train and guide on-air and back-end programming team to achieve the highest quality of presentation on the station

• Define clear marketing objectives in line with station positioning

• Provide strategic programming leadership

• Conceptualise station clocks and scheduling

• Effectively manage content syndication and services from external vendors and internal resources

• A good degree from a recognised University.

• 10 years of working experience in a broadcast environment.

• Familiar with radio broadcast systems (RCS)

• A good understanding of Singapore's radio market.

• A big music fan, familiar with mainstream popular English music.

• Able to analyse and use listenership data to improve programming

• Excellent command of English

• Strong leadership quality
