Job Description
- Work alongside with Child Life Specialists and Social Workers to facilitate play in the hospital environment
- Staff and maintain the Family Resource Centre and/or Playroom
- Plan and facilitate daily individual play and/or group activities in the Family Resource Centre and/or Playroom
- Organise, set up and facilitate special events in the hospital
- Responsible for resource and material management
- Engage and supervise volunteers to be effective and competent in their roles
Job Requirements
- Minimum a Diploma holder in either Child Development, Child Psychology, Early Childhood Education and/or Special Needs Education or its equivalent
- Have experience volunteering in hospital or with have had worked with children
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with beneficiaries, staff, volunteers and other stakeholders
- Self-motivated and keen to learn

Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF)
Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF) is a social service agency with a mission to improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families and children impacted by cancer through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being.
Founded in 1992, CCF provides children with cancer and their families the much needed support in their battle against the life threatening illness. Over the years, CCF has helped more than 3000 children and their families at different stages of the illness. We are also an Institution of Public Character (IPC) registered agency.
Organised by CCF, Hair for Hope is the only head-shaving event in Singapore that serves to raise childhood cancer awareness and funds for CCF. By volunteering to shave, the shavees become CCF’s ambassadors in spreading childhood cancer messages to their family, friends and colleagues when garnering monetary support from them.
