Senior Manager, Digital Development

Job Description

This position is part of a dynamic team, reporting directly to Head of Digital Development.  

The Digital Development Manager will be responsible for developing customer and audience  centric initiatives across digital touch-points through direct and programmatic channels and  improve overall yield, grow digital revenue and deliver the possibilities that excite our clients.  

Your success means being able to create an impactful ad product strategy across digital media  channels leveraging audience data, monitoring campaign performance and address specific  needs of our clients. This will also require an understanding of programmatic advertising, audience  monetization and data management platform (DMP) and ad servers/ad exchanges.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Serve as the lead manager for the digital development team across media channels (display  - standard and rich media, social, video, audio, email, and affiliate)  
  • Ideate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to devise digital ad product strategies and  drive new initiatives to meet our advertisers’ objectives  
  • Build first party audience segments and work with Data Management Platform (DMP) partner  to improve audience monetization  
  • Provide business and functional requirements to our Digital Media Product, Tech and Adtech  teams to translate into technical brief for development of new digital ad formats  
  • Collaborate with Digital Media Product, Tech and Adtech teams to develop Ad UX framework and guidelines for all digital ad products  
  • Build relationships with existing and new partners, vendors and work on pilot assignments,  proof-of-concepts for innovate tools/platforms in ad monetization and digital development  
  • Monitor & improve digital inventory and campaign performance measurement metrics (CPMs,  RPMs, Sell-Through, Viewability, Brand Safety, Ad frequency etc) for digital advertising  
  • Keep abreast of latest digital, adtech, and competitive trends and serve as a subject matter  expert  
  • Develop best-in-class processes and protocols that establish a strong communication for  various stakeholders  

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years digital development, adtech planning, media agency or publisher experience  ∙ Understanding of programmatic advertising and audience monetization  
  • Familiar with ad servers, ad exchanges and monetization tools/platforms (GAM360, GA360,  DSPs, SSPs, DMPs) 
  • Experience across Digital Media Channels: Display (Standard, Rich Media), Social, Video,  Audio, Email, Affiliate, and Search  
  • Knowledge of ad creative and campaign management workflows  
  • Ability to think big picture while still paying attention to details  
  • Significant experience at building collaterals (decks, one-sheets, using G-suite tools) 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to be highly collaborative  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills  
  • Excel at multi-tasking  
  • Time management / ability to juggle multiple projects under deadline
