Young Audience at Chinese Media Group is made up of 2 teams, ZBSchools and HeyKaki. Young Audience creates Chinese content, produce publications and manage digital/social media platforms aimed at audiences aged below 30 (i.e., children, students, teenagers, tertiary students, young working adults). As our audiences have a variety of interests and are social media savvy, we operate with a start-up mentality and culture.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and resourceful Senior Video Content Creator who is passionate about producing quality Chinese content for our audiences!

You will be responsible for the following:

• Produce, source, manage and execute production as well as delivery of video content. (i.e., short narratives, vox-pox, interviews, client commissioned videos, etc)
• Coordinate day-to-day content production and editing activities to ensure quality and prompt delivery
• Guide journalists on production efforts (ie: scripting, shooting, editing, etc)
• Produce live-streaming programmes (web-cast/webinars) for various platforms
• Manage video-editing team as well as negotiation with external production vendors

• At least 5 years of working experience in the media industry and video production
• Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English as this role is for a Chinese publication; Able to vet Chinese video scripts independently and is comfortable with working in a Chinese-speaking environment
• Well-versed with all processes involved in a production lifecycle
• Experience in delivering content across live-streaming platforms, as well as editing software; live-streaming technical skills would be advantageous
• Strong in ideation and conceptualisation - continuous curiosity about what’s new and fresh in the video/media landscape
• A growth-seeking and self-driven individual who is team player
• Confident and comfortable in leading junior teammates
