A key component within the Project Management Office (PMO) team, the Agile Coach would be tasked to transform the teams to adopt Agile practices and to improve SPHTech’s Agile maturity.
A team player who can guide, lead and influence the teams to understand the Agile concepts and ease the transformation of the team’s practices.
Guide, coach and lead the product, technical and business teams with the goal of adopting Agile (Scrum and Kanban) practices in their daily, assessing team agile maturity and coaching teams toward higher agile maturity that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation.
Co-Creating and working alongside teams in experiments, feedback collection, and eventually adoptions of new practices to create a Learning Environment.
An active participant in the implementation of Agile based Framework with a goal of moving the team forward in the Agile journey.
Collaborate with senior business stakeholders and technology heads to define the transformation strategy and roadmap to improve the way we design, develop and implement solutions for our customers;
Lead the digital transformation journey which will cover all aspects of software delivery: team & workforce strategy, culture, planning, design, implementation, refactoring, testing, automation, cloud services, integration, release, governance, monitoring and troubleshooting;
Support the business in developing, driving and aligning an integrated business and technology strategy to transition into agile;
Facilitate communication(retrospectives, refinement sessions, discussion, decision making and conflicts resolution) and foster effective communication among the scrum masters, product owners, and team leaders;
Facilitate brainstorm session for new product development by adopting design thinking methodology;
Work with various leadership teams to adopt consistent and disciplined Agile delivery and BAU capabilities;
Develop Agile Methodology and Dashboard and align to the broader SPH Project Management framework
Coach development team in self-organisation
Conduct Agile Process and Tools Training to Business and Tech teams
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Certified Scrum Masters and Agile Coach.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner or in a similar role. Experience in the Media industry would be useful.
Deep understanding of a variety of agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrumban, etc.) and practices.
Past experience with scaling agile will be useful.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Agile project Management tools (JIRA/Confluence).
Hands-on experience in designing user stories, CI/CD, BDD & Test Automation is a plus.
Ability to effectively manage key stakeholders.
Good understanding of user experience and design thinking methodology and experience working with teams through the process of investigation, ideation and implementation;
Excellent communication, leadership, and people development skills. Strong sense of accountability.
Able to communicate well with all levels of the organization from Scrum team members to executives.
Able to facilitate, lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team.
Must have an attitude of empowerment to be able to lead a team to self-organization.
Must be a quick learner, able to quickly gain a high level understanding of the technical and business domains.
Desired Agile Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSO); PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC, SAFe-SPC, LeSS Practitioner.
