Procurement duties for vessel needs, such as Request for Quotation (RFQ), Price Comparison, Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Order, etc.
Responsibility for a timely and economical supply of all technical material, equipment and services based on specification, defined quality and required standards.
Support of market research activities to develop a qualified and reliable supplier network and recommend potential or alternative materials, services, prices and products.
Invoice verification, resolution of discrepancies and handling of claims to vendors, process invoices from suppliers.
Preparation and execution of requisitions for technical equipment, analysis of quotes and complement of documentation for purchase orders.
Negotiation of purchase price and monitoring the vendor performance.
Arrangement of needed logistics
Any other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager
Job Requirements
Those with relevant work experience will be an added advantage
Previous experience with marine procurement software (TM Master, MESPAS, SIS or similar, etc.) will be an added advantage
Fluent English and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Meticulous, organised, responsible & good team player
A sense of responsibility and a high degree of result orientation as well as the strong ability to communicate
Able to multi-task, good team player and committed to learn
