SPH Content Lab is hiring an experienced video producer for a 6-month contract. The right person for this role has a passion for telling visual stories with heart, innovation and charm.

You are responsible for driving all stages of the content marketing video process, from concept and scripting to managing production and post-production. Content Lab works with an army of freelance talent and production houses to create an array of video content, including motion graphic videos, documentary-style films, explainers, animation and creative short stories. They help bring our concepts to life – you run the show, on time and on budget.

The role requires a strong sense of experimentation, adventure and playfulness. The ability to thrive under pressure, manage intense deadlines and collaborate well with others is essential. Experience producing content for digital and social media is essential.

The gig starts immediately.

• At least 6 years’ experience in a relevant role.
• Proven track record as a creative storyteller. Must be strong with scripting and original concepts.
• Experience in creating branded content for digital and social platforms is essential. Additional experience creating editorial, non-paid video content is preferred.
• Experience working with different formats of video content is necessary.
• An extraordinary gift for multitasking. Please be extremely organised and detail-oriented.
• Excellent English-language verbal and written skills. Proficiency in Chinese, Malay or Tamil is a bonus.
• Strong industry network and access to freelance talent and production houses.
• Deep knowledge of film, pop culture and digital trends.
• Must play well with others.
