Assistant Manager/Manager, Digital Marketing (Group Marketing)

Job Description

SPH Group Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives for SPH Media’s Media Brands. We are looking for a Digital Marketer who will take ownership in applying the online strategy for brand awareness, and be the go-to digital consultants for all paid digital marketing aspects.

 

Our aim is to reinforce the digital space for SPH Media brands in collaboration with internal stakeholders, and drive digital campaign performance across various paid channels complementary with content and traditional marketing. 

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and tactical counsel to key stakeholders in the context of digital media (paid and social), best practices, etc.
  • Build partnerships with vendors and bridge the knowledge gap between product owners and platforms.
  • Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams such as editorial, analytics, tech, commercial etc.
  • Develop end to end media strategies (content marketing & paid media) & execute paid digital advertising strategies (ie: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Google / Baidu (SEM, Display), Outbrain & Taboola, etc) to meet our business goals
  • Optimize performance campaigns to reach campaign objectives and business goals by analysing and interpreting sets of data.
  • Use new and innovative advertising technologies and techniques to do campaign planning and improve campaign performance.
  • Generate and visualize pre, mid and post-campaign reports with actionable insights
  • Keep up with trends in the digital marketing space, competitors' activities and best practice

Job Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in social media and performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience in using web analytics tools like Google Analytics, and experience with integrated platforms (ie: SEMRush, SimilarWeb, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in executing & optimizing Paid Social, Search and Display campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of Native advertising (Outbrain & Taboola), Google Ads, Social Media and SEO.
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate complex large-scale concepts clearly and simply
  • In-depth understanding of digital media principles, creative best practices, ad formats, media planning and buying.
  • Analytical, structured and organized
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Innovative thinker with experience creating and managing strategies and digital platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and writing skills.
  • Passionate about bringing SPH Media brands’ to the next level in all digital marketing aspects.
  • Have a good understanding of Chinese Social Media and Advertising Platforms.
