The Chinese Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Digital Designer to join its young audience team.

The Job 

• Build on our brand story and create visual assets that fits the narrative
• Play a key role in shaping the look and feel of all digital assets including social media, website and video to create a strong identity for the brand
• Work closely with content producers to execute concepts on social media (e.g. with memes, infographics, instagram stories)
• Use visual effects, animation and other techniques to help bring ideas to life
• Help in the design of any engagement collaterals on print and digital
• Basic website design (HTML, CSS) to maintain brand site
• Ability to create Instagram filter using Spark AR studio (Good to have)

• Degree/Diploma in art or design, or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (e.g.Photoshop; Illustrator; InDesign; After Effects), HTML, CSS
•  Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar design role, with experience leading projects and seeing them through from concept stage to delivery
• Ability to conceptualise ideas and have sound technical design skills
• Ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines
• Frequent user of social media (instagram, youtube, tiktok)
• Solid communication skills
• Understanding of creative principles and practices
• Bilingual with basic level of Chinese
