We’re looking for a creative, forward-thinking and intuitive individual for the following full-time position:

FASHION WRITER/CONTENT PRODUCER

Key responsibilities

• Work with the team to conceptualise, produce and write editorial and advertorial content for FEMALE’s print and digital platforms, including social media channels
• Thoroughly research and generate ideas for stories and content focused on – but not limited to – fashion for FEMALE’s digital and print platforms
• Assist editor-in-chief and digital director in the production of content; liaising with clients and collaborators; and housekeeping matters
• Represent the FEMALE brand at external events
• Ensure that all work produced is representative of the FEMALE brand and our values
• Carry out other job-related duties as required

Desired skills and experience

•  Minimum two years of experience in writing and content production in the area of fashion and/or other related fields
•  Possesses a strong interest in and knowledge of fashion, culture and society
•  Passionate about producing content that’s fashion-forward, meaningful and journalistically sound
• Savvy with and interested in innovating how stories are told through words and visuals for both traditional and digital media platforms, including social media
•  Firm grasp of SEO writing
•  Familiarity with using a CMS system and Google Drive, Docs and Slides
•  Strong command of the English language with an effective and modern writing voice
•  A quick and independent learner who’s not afraid to work hard, ask questions and deal with a fast-paced environment, and multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Works well with others and is a thoughtful team player who’s open to collaboration and feedback
• Resourceful and details- and solutions-focused
