The Chinese Media Group Newsroom Digital is seeking a creative and user focused Interactive Media Developer who enjoys developing websites and digital experiences through innovative media. The modern developer will work alongside journalists, editors, digital designers to create optimal online experiences for digital projects, interactive content and online marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Create visual and interactive digital experiences using web-related technologies.
• Brings life to dynamic websites with creative functionality and interaction to enhance user experiences
• Develop engaging storytelling web interfaces with data visualisation content.
• Create a toolkit with responsive templates for interactive storytelling
• Stay up-to-date on emerging web technologies and promote usability best practices.

• Possess at least Diploma in Computer Science or related area.
• Proven working experience in web programming with proficiency in the development and production of websites. Portfolio to be included for assessment.
• Firm grasp of programming languages, Javascript framework (Angular, ReactJS, PHP or Vue), HTML5, CSS (SASS, LESS)
• Possess a know-how on interactive trends
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills with an eye for UI and flair for usability.
