Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful candidate to join the Transformation & Strategy Office. As part of the Strategic Partnerships team, your role has four core components: 1) Strategic Relationship Building and Management, 2) New Opportunities Qualification, 3) Progress Monitoring and 4) Reporting.

The Strategic Partnerships team is a function that enables the company to meet its strategic objectives through the cultivation of business relationships, designing framework which allow partnerships to thrive and redefining value proposition to seek business growth.

Working across our business units, you will be part of a dynamic team that strives to develop long term partnerships with key partners. You will also help to identify new opportunities to enhance collaboration with existing partners and explore ways to expand our partnership network. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the SPH Media strategies through partnerships by maintaining an ecosystem with media brands, technology companies, corporations and government agencies.
  • Leverage deep understanding of media ecosystem, competitive landscape to identify and formulate strategic opportunities.
  • Own the strategic partnerships, execution of its partnerships goals and prioritise the partnerships based on ROI, resources and dependencies.
  • Establish and build trust and influence with partners, by defining joint roadmaps, managing multiple touch points and maintaining successful partnerships.
  • Define partnership success metrics, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, analyse and communicate partner’s performance and business trends.
  • Maintain a regular connection with partners to understand their roadmaps and priorities to proactively identify opportunities to grow the partnerships.
  • Work closely with content creators, sales teams and other internal stakeholders to create value and deliver results.
  • Facilitate resourcing & implementation of transformation initiatives through cross-functional project teams , and negotiate, build and manage a more cohesive and comprehensive partnership roadmap
  • Proactively resolve business and operational issues with partners and be an internal advocate for partners within SPH Media.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a marketing, business development or partnerships role
  • Strategic thinker with networking aptitude
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills 
  • Able to appreciate broader strategic directions and priorities, and translate these into actionable steps for project teams
  • Works well in a fast paced environment
