The Chinese Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Specialist to join its Young Audience team. 

The Job 

• Manage social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok)
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices for various social media platforms and work with the team to experiment with trending formats/hashtags/templates etc.
• Reply to comments and engage with followers on social media in line with the moderation policy
• Develop plans to grow followers for social media platforms
• Track and analyse performance for videos and social media
• Conceptualise and work with a team to create original Chinese content for young adults for social media including videos, social media posts and memes.
• Must be comfortable speaking on screen, facilitating discussions with guests and also trying out new fads, attractions etc.

• Diploma/Degree
• At least 1 year of related working experience
• Effectively bilingual ( English/ Chinese ). Able to converse fluently in chinese.
• Highly creative with a sense of humour
• Keen interest in the latest trends
• Interest in creating entertaining and informative content for young adults
• Demonstrable knowledge of best practices for various social media platforms
• Organised and able to handle multiple projects on tight deadlines
• Experience in video production/editing (Optional)
