As a UX Researcher, you will help SPH Media develop greater insights into the needs and desires of our customers in order to create and improve our online products. The role involves interfacing with customers of our digital products, synthesising qualitative and quantitative data, and working closely together with stakeholders and other UX researchers.

What you’ll be doing

• You’ll carry out qualitative and quantitative research on SPH Media’s digital products
• by conducting user interviews, usability tests and other research activities. You’ll
• recruit suitable participants, document your findings meticulously and translate them
• into actionable recommendations. You’ll present your research findings to
• stakeholders, and work collaboratively with designers, product managers,
• engineering teams and other parties who support our product development efforts.
• You will be involved in projects that require you to conduct interviews and surveys in Chinese.

• At least 3 years of experience in conducting user interviews and usability tests
• Experience with quantitative research
• Experience with recruitment
• Highly proficient in both English and Chinese (both oral and written skills)
• Strong presentation and listening skills
• You should be an Individual Contributor
• You have good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Good-to-have

• B.A. or M.A. in Psychology, Applied Statistics, HCI or other behavioural
• sciences
• Experience with integrating consumer research into a business’s product
• design practice
• Experience with A/B testing
• Adept in interpreting Google Analytics - Experience in facilitating workshops
• (both in-person and online)
