The Video Presenter/Producer is a storyteller who is able to bring a voice and present world views in a concise and engaging format. They are able to conceptualize and produce best-in-class content through collaboration with multiple teams and departments to oversee the development of a range of content and strategy. This includes ideation, conceptualization, direction and production.

As a Video Presenter/Producer, you will work with various newsrooms, radio and video-production partners, to come up with central concepts that delight the key audiences. Your responsibilities include writing and conceptualizing, as well as presenting the show with an engaging style and ease of manner suitable for an audience of all age groups. 

You must have a strong command of English, a knack for whacky ideas that work, and diverse cultural interests. Also, an excellent sense of humour. Curiosity, resourcefulness and an eagerness to network are critical, as is a desire to stay ahead of digital and social media trends. It’s a bonus if you thrive on the rush of working to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various journalists in the media newsroom as well as cross-functional teams to develop video packages on current affairs.
• Contribute to ideation, and conceptualization while calling for attention to detail, an eye for accuracy. Should be able to present the ideas effectively with storyboard abilities 

• Relevant degree in Media. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Video Production, Journalism, English or any relevant fields with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to set up, light, write, shoot, present and produce video packages.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro.
• Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-organised and a self-starter, capable of managing multiple projects.
• Experience in social media platforms and management systems particularly YouTube and Facebook.
• Experience with producing live programmes and operating camera drones is an advantage.
